Our stay at La Reserve was bordering on perfection - like out of a dream.
Set upon a hill just above Giverny you will find the most gorgeous and elegant French Manor house.
The rooms are beautifully furnished, well appointed and large.
Surrounding their beautiful property is a farmers field where you will find cows meandering past. The striped room where we stayed had flowers growing around the windows as you gazed out, watching the cows going by. The whole experience was dream-like in quality and I cannot wait to return.
There were lovely breakfasts with a remarkable variety of local foods each morning.
The owner Valerie and her husband Francois are most charming and helpful. We needed assistance dropping off a rental car in Paris and they facilitated everything for us in a most kind way. They also are very knowledgeable about the Monet exhibits and will obtain tickets. Good English is spoken there.
My husband fell in love with their gently puppy Flaubert.
